Nitrous oxide-induced predominantly motor neuropathies: a follow-up study
Young patients, with induced N2O motor neuropathy remain disabled after 5 to 14.5 months of gas withdrawal, despite vitamin B12 supplementation. A longer follow-up is needed to fully appraise the severity of these toxic neuropathies.

Nangs, balloons and crackers: Recreational nitrous oxide neurotoxicity
A female university student aged 18 years presented to her general practitioner (GP) with subacute-onset, progressive distal lower limb sensory symptoms and unsteadiness. She had first noticed symptoms three weeks earlier when she awoke with painful tingling and numbness in both feet. Over the following weeks, the sensory symptoms progressed, and she developed bilateral lower limb weakness and impaired balance such that she was unable to dress herself while standing.
